Yield Earning
Yield Earning 101
Yield Earning lets you deposit supported assets into curated, non-custodial Morpho vaults to earn variable lending yield.
Instead of selecting and managing individual lending markets yourself, a Yield Account provides one position that follows the vault's allocation strategy.
When you deposit into a Yield Account:
- You receive vault shares representing your position.
- The vault allocates assets across one or more approved markets according to its strategy.
- Interest accrues through changes in the value of your vault shares.
- Additional token rewards may be available and may require a separate claim.
- Hodly does not impose a fixed lockup, but withdrawals depend on available liquidity and network conditions.
APY is variable and can change as borrowing demand, utilization, rewards, fees, and market conditions change.
Why use Yield Accounts?
- Put supported assets to work for variable lending yield instead of leaving them idle.
- Access a curated allocation strategy without manually managing each lending market.
- Compare current APY, TVL, withdrawal liquidity, exposure, curator information, warnings, and Hodly health metrics.
- Keep wallet control while interacting with non-custodial smart contracts.
- Deposit or request a withdrawal directly from your connected wallet.
Important risks
Yield Accounts are not bank savings accounts, and returns are not guaranteed.
Before depositing, review:
- Available withdrawal liquidity
- Vault exposure and concentration
- Curator and allocation strategy
- Vault fees and token rewards
- Pending configuration changes and warnings
- Smart-contract, oracle, collateral, liquidity, and bad-debt risks

Vault List Guide
The Vault List helps you search, filter, sort, and compare supported Yield vaults.
Find and compare vaults
- Search by vault or asset.
- Filter by network, curator, or deposit asset.
- Sort by Vault, TVL, Liquid, Health, or APY.
- Select a vault row to review its details.
- Select Deposit to open the deposit flow.
How to read the table
| Term | Meaning | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Vault | Vault name and required deposit asset | Identifies the vault and asset needed to deposit |
| TVL | Current total value deposited in the vault | Shows the current size of the vault |
| Liquid | Estimated value currently available for withdrawal | Helps assess whether the vault can support withdrawals |
| Curator | Entity responsible for the vault's strategy and risk parameters | Helps you research who defines the vault strategy |
| Exposure | Assets and markets receiving vault allocations | Highlights concentration and underlying market risk |
| Health | Hodly's 0–100 educational vault health score | Summarizes factors to investigate before depositing |
| APY | Current estimated net annual percentage yield | Helps compare current variable yield after vault fees |
Before choosing a vault
Do not evaluate a vault using APY alone. Review:
- Withdrawal liquidity
- Exposure and concentration
- Curator information
- Health score and available health details
- Vault warnings
- Pending configuration changes
- Performance and management fees
- Base yield and token rewards
- Historical APY, TVL, and unit-price data
Pro tip: Select a vault row to review its allocation, liquidity, exposure, APY structure, historical charts, warnings, and pending configuration changes before depositing.
Yield Earning
Deposit & Withdraw
How to deposit
- Open Yield Earning and choose a vault.
- Select Deposit.
- Connect your wallet and switch to Base if requested.
- Enter the amount of the required deposit asset.
- Review the Hodly fee, net amount entering the vault, APY, exposure, and estimated yearly earnings.
- Approve the deposit asset if required.
- Confirm the deposit transaction in your wallet.
After the transaction is confirmed on Base, Hodly reflects the deposit in your vault position and provides a Basescan link.
What happens if you don't have enough of the required asset in your wallet?
Swap to the deposit asset
If you hold another supported token, use the vault's Swap link to obtain the required deposit asset. After the swap is confirmed, return to the deposit screen to complete the deposit.
Swap and deposit are separate actions. Each may require an approval and transaction confirmation.
Fund your wallet
If your balance is too low, open Fund wallet to add Base USDC through Coinbase Onramp. Funding and depositing are separate flows.
After Coinbase funding completes and the USDC appears in your wallet, return to the vault. If the vault requires another asset, swap USDC into that asset before depositing.
How to withdraw
- Open the vault and select the Manage tab.
- Select Withdraw.
- Connect your wallet and switch to Base if requested.
- Enter an amount or select MAX.
- Review the Hodly fee and net amount you will receive.
- Approve the vault position if required.
- Confirm the withdrawal transaction in your wallet.
After the transaction is confirmed on Base, the net withdrawal amount is reflected in your wallet.
If you want another supported asset, complete the withdrawal first and then use the separate Swap flow.
Important notes
- Hodly does not impose a fixed lockup, but withdrawals depend on vault liquidity, router status, and network conditions.
- Deposit and withdrawal fees are shown in the transaction preview.
- Base network gas may apply and varies with network conditions.
- Eligible Hodly Wallet transactions may have gas covered when sponsored gas is available.
- The withdrawal amount is based on the current value of the vault shares being redeemed, less the displayed fee.
- Additional token rewards may require a separate claim.
- Swap, wallet funding, deposit, and withdrawal are separate actions.

Health Score Explained
The Hodly Vault Health Score (0–100) is an educational metric that summarizes the current quality and risk characteristics of a vault. A higher score indicates stronger measured characteristics, but does not mean the vault is risk-free.
What it considers
- Market Safety — bad debt, oracle risk, and liquidation parameters such as LLTV
- Exit Liquidity — available liquidity relative to vault assets
- Exposure Quality — diversification, concentration, and dependency across markets and collateral
- Yield Sustainability — yield stability, share-price performance, fees, and reward dependence
- Governance — curator controls, timelocks, warnings, and pending changes
- Track Record — the length and consistency of available vault history
Score ranges
- 85–100 — Strong
- 70–84 — Good
- 55–69 — Mixed
- 40–54 — Watch
- 0–39 — Weak
Critical market warnings, unsafe configuration, or confirmed share-price drawdowns may limit the final score.
Confidence and data coverage
The confidence score describes the freshness, completeness, and consistency of the evidence used. Confidence is shown separately and is not added to the Vault Health Score.
Disclaimer
The Vault Health Score is a proprietary educational metric. It is not financial advice, does not guarantee safety or performance, and should not replace your own review of the vault, its curator, markets, liquidity, and risks.
Yield Earning
APY vs Rewards
A vault's displayed yield may include share-price yield and separate token incentives. All APY values are estimates, variable, and may change over time.
Vault yield
- Primarily comes from interest paid by borrowers in the markets used by the vault
- Accrues through changes in the value of your vault shares
- Does not require a separate reward claim
- May be affected by vault performance fees, management fees, market conditions, and utilization
Reward APY
- Represents additional token incentives associated with the vault
- May use MORPHO or another reward token
- Is displayed separately from other yield components
- Does not represent your current claimable token balance
- May require a separate claim transaction when a supported reward distributor and verified claim action are available
How Hodly displays APY
- Vault Net APY is the current headline yield estimate
- Raw APY shows yield before applicable vault-level fee adjustments
- Reward APY rows show estimated token incentive yield
- Performance Fee and Management Fee are shown separately when available
- Historical charts separate base yield from derived reward yield where data is available
Claimable rewards
Open the vault's Manage tab to view wallet-specific claimable rewards.
The Claim button is available only when Hodly has a positive claimable balance and a verified claim transaction for that reward. APY estimates shown in the vault overview are not claimable balances.
Important notes
- APY is variable and is not guaranteed.
- Reward programs, rates, and token values may change or end.
- Claim transactions may require Base network gas.
- Eligible Hodly Wallet claims may use sponsored gas when available.
